This webinar provides a practical overview of Michigan landlord-tenant law designed specifically for professionals working directly with individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Participants will learn about:

Marie Reimers, Lakeshore Legal Aid
Marie Reimers is a supervising attorney at Lakeshore Legal Aid in the Detroit Eviction Prevention Unit. Lakeshore Legal Aid represents low income people in Oakland, Macomb, Wayne and Saint Clair counties in civil legal matters. In her role as a supervising attorney Marie manages a team of attorneys and legal assistants defending Detroit tenants from eviction at the 36th District Court.
