Course Overview

This webinar is critical to anyone concerned about homelessness.  As rents increase and wages stay flat, more and more people in our communities are facing homelessness and living on the Street.  To survive, many people are forced to live on the streets and band together in encampments.  This webinar will go over practical key considerations for working with the homeless in encampments, including.

1)  Understanding trauma-informed Outreach best practices
2)  Best Practices in safety in encampment outreach ( for advocates and for the people we serve)
3)  Best Practices in advocacy if your municipality is going to shut down the camp (including a written guide to provide to municipal leaders)
