Description of the Webinar

Join us for an interactive webinar where trainers will outline similarities and differences in sexual violence perpetrator dynamics and domestic violence perpetrator dynamics. We will discuss examples of high-risk acts by abusers, the use of controlling behaviors to get the partner to do or to stop doing something, and ways that perpetrators are not held accountable and continue to cause harm. 

Course Outcomes

Attendees will become familiar with tactics used to enforce involve coercion, intimidation, degradation, exploitation and violence.

What will participants walk away knowing?

Participants will understand that domestic and sexual violence happens because of the choices that perpetrators make. Domestic and sexual violence is about power and control.
