AmeriCorps Service Project
On Friday, May 17th a group of nearly 100 AmeriCorps members from the mid-Michigan region honored the late Russ Mawby, a noted Michigan philanthropist, with a day of service at Fenner Nature Center in Lansing, MI. Together, the AmeriCorps members cleaned and prepared learning materials for children’s camps, mulched 3 square yards of trails, and pulled over 1000 lbs. of invasive plants!
