Understanding privacy and implementing a successful privacy structure is always a challenge for agencies, leaders and stakeholders at the Local Planning Body or CoC level. To assist communities with navigating these waters, MCAH has scheduled a Lunch and Learn webinar to help System Administrators, CoC Leadership and State Partners successfully implement privacy at a local level. This webinar will cover:

1. The core MSHMIS privacy rule and how it connects with other privacy laws such as HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
2. Where and when disclosure of information can take place.
3. How to approach the discussion of data sharing. What factors are critical to consider when entering a sharing environment.
4. How to create a culture of privacy within your community. How can you take a systematic look at benefits and risks associated with Privacy.
