2019 Regional Convenings
The Michigan Homeless Policy Council (MHPC) has begun the planning process to update Michigan’s statewide plan to end and prevent homelessness. This summer, the MHPC will hold five regional convenings across the state to gather input from practitioners, people with lived experience, and community stakeholders. We invite you to join us in one of these community conversations so that we may gain a better understanding of the most significant challenges encountered by people experiencing homelessness across the state and the barriers to ending homelessness. We want to hear your voice. Please participate and help to shape the priorities and strategies of the new plan.
Below you will find a list of the 5 cities where the meetings will be held, along with the dates, times and locations. We are asking that individuals register to attend in order to make sure we have enough seating. Please select a city, then click on the corresponding link to register to attend the meeting.
