Serving Folks with Disabilities

General Description
This webinar will provide participants with information regarding what it means to serve folks with disabilities. It will review various topics, including intersectionality, disability rights, approaches to helping folks with disabilities, what ableism is, and ableist language and disability pride.
Course outcomes:
Participants will gain more knowledge on how to serve folks with disabilities.
Participants will walk away knowing:
A better understanding of disability rights, what disability pride is a better understanding of person-first and identity-first language, and the different approaches to serving people with disabilities.
