The Community Economic Development Association of Michigan (CEDAM) is working in partnership with Michigan’s AmeriCorps to investigate community needs and how AmeriCorps can be deployed to meet those needs. To do this, CEDAM is analyzing current and past AmeriCorps data, conducting interviews with key stakeholders, and implementing a digital survey.
The survey audience is all nonprofits, local municipalities, and tribal units—basically any organization that’s able to host an AmeriCorps member/program and wants to help identify gaps for AmeriCorps as a whole. The end product is a report that will be shared with stakeholders and MCSC to help guide future AmeriCorps offerings in Michigan.
