Need Help? If you are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, we suggest you search our provider directory for resources in your area. If you need to find affordable housing, follow this link to the Michigan Housing Locator or Apartments.com If you are in immediate need of shelter, please call the Department of Human Services hotline at 1-800-A-SHELTER (1-800-274-3583). They will arrange for a temporary emergency shelter or motel stay. You may follow this link to Shelters.org to find or register a shelter.
